I understand! I am really enjoying it also, even with the bugs that will have to be worked out, it is just beautiful and a lot more stable, at least on my system.
I used to put a lot of energy into changing the look and function of the windows interface, as it was just lacking a lot and was unpleasing to my eye. This has the sharp beauty and function of my past systems with out the overhead of skinning programs.(although I still am using Stardocks Objectdock to put icons on my desktop that react to the mouse)

I am also one who spent hours and days trying to customize the way Windows XP looked and felt. One of the things that I had to get over was looking for new customization things. I had my Windows XP looking so much like Vista that if one did not know they would think it was Vista. However, since actually seeing and using Vista, the XP customization that is out there just does not measure up to the real thing.
